Narratize Featured in A+E Docuseries FoundHER: The Pitch Lab

Airing Fridays in March on the ModernMarvels channel, FoundHER: The Pitch Lab shares the stories of five women founders working to secure venture capital for their innovative startups.

Tune in to A&E’s Modern Marvels Channel on Fridays this month (5:30 EST/4:30 CST) to follow the story of how Narratize CEO, Katie Trauth Taylor, secured Narratize’s first investment at Pitch HearstLab LA 2023. 

FoundHer narrates how HearstLab - a venture capital firm devoted to funding women-led companies – scouts and supports women founders. Led by Chairwoman and Executive Vice President, Eve Burton, HearstLab provides their portfolio companies with the tools they need to build incredible businesses that make an impact. To date, HearstLab has made over 70 investments in women-led companies across a portfolio valued at $2.4B. Their network of over 170 innovative female executive scouts support founders through advisory and consulting services.

“I am so honored that the incredible team of storytellers at A&E chose to document the Narratize origin story,” states Taylor, “The series shares the statistic that only 2% of venture-funded startups are founded by women. In our space – generative AI – that number is only .03%. Three tenths of a decimal point. But we know that when diverse voices are heard and supported, technology is safer and more effective for everybody. We can’t wait to make generative AI more inclusive - we need diverse founders creating incredible, human-centered products right now.”
