Built by operators who've lived inside R&D. Engineered for the teams still doing the work.

Narratize was founded in 2023 to solve a problem the founders had lived themselves: innovation teams know far more than any system captures. We're building the platform that finally compounds it.

Why we exist

Innovation teams know more than their documents capture. That's the problem we built Narratize to solve.

Every R&D organization runs on knowledge that lives in heads, hallway conversations, lab notebooks, and Slack threads — not in the documents that get filed and forgotten. The most senior engineers know which margins were tight, which trade-offs almost broke a program, which assumptions held up and which didn't. The platform of record never knew.

Narratize was founded in 2023 by people who had sat in those meetings, watched institutional knowledge walk out the door at retirement, and rebuilt the same context from scratch on the next program. We knew there had to be a way for innovation teams to compound what they already know.

The first version shipped in 2024. The Cerebrum knowledge orchestration engine landed in 2025. By April 2026, customers across chemicals, CPG, medical devices, industrial manufacturing, aerospace, and energy were running on Narratize — and the round that closed Series A made the next chapter possible.

We are building the System of Intelligence for new product development. Not a knowledge management tool. Not a wiki with AI bolted on. A platform engineered for how innovation teams actually think, decide, document, and compound — across decades, transitions, and the people who carry it forward.

The Team

Built by operators who've lived inside the work.

Narratize's founders, engineers, and product team come from inside the industries we serve. We've shipped products, sat in stage-gate reviews, written regulatory submissions, and watched senior engineers retire with the only copies of the knowledge that made their programs run. That perspective is the platform's foundation.

Founding Team

Founders who lived the problem.

CEO Katie Trauth Taylor and co-founder Catherine O'Shea founded Narratize after careers spent inside R&D and innovation programs — where they watched institutional knowledge fail to compound and decided to build the system that would change that.

Engineering

Built by engineers who've built platforms before.

The Cerebrum knowledge orchestration engine is the work of engineers with deep experience in production AI systems, knowledge architecture, and enterprise platforms — building toward differentiated retrieval strategies, not generic RAG.

Customer Success

Partnered with customers who run the work.

Our customer success and solutions team works alongside R&D leaders inside Fortune 500 chemicals, CPG, medical, and industrial manufacturers — not from a distance. Domain knowledge flows both directions.

SeED +  · JUne 2026

Seed+ closed in June 2026. The work compounds from here.

Narratize raised approximately four million dollars in Series A capital to accelerate vertical expansion across the industries our customers operate in, deepen the Cerebrum knowledge orchestration engine, and bring Innovation Intelligence to more of the Fortune 500.

How we work

Four principles that shape the platform and the company.

Principle 01

Compound. Never reset.

Every conversation, decision, and document should add to the knowledge that's already there — not start over. The platform is engineered for that compounding. The company runs the same way.

Principle 02

Built by operators. Not by pundits.

Domain expertise is the input, not the audience. Our engineers, product team, and customer success leads come from inside the industries we serve. That perspective is non-negotiable in everything we build.

Principle 03

Speed without shortcuts.

Faster innovation cycles only matter if the evidence, rigor, and regulatory defensibility stay intact. Narratize compresses cycle time by removing friction in the work — not by skipping the work.

Principle 04

Information over opinion.

Customer outcomes, measured results, and named context lead. Hype doesn't compound. We let the work speak — in product, in evidence, and in the language we use to describe it.
